Do Walk: Navigate Earth, Mind and Body. Step by Step.

I started a daily MorningWalk practice in 2011 and committed at that time, to go every single morning for a month. Every. Damn. Day. No excuses. It was October in New England, getting cold and dark which made the commitment a bit more significant. I would need a pile of discipline, a fierce headlamp and wildly cozy hat. What motivated me to do this?  The answer: My days had become filled with to do lists, meetings, conference calls, and driving to and fro. Not that this was a problem per se, it just didn’t reflect who I was fully, at my core. I had forgotten what was essential to me. I needed to get back what had defined me, to be immersed in the natural world, and to be embraced by the great quiet. I needed the space to reflect, and I needed the wind, the rain, the birds, the great oaks, and the sunrise to help me as guides. Every single day with every single step I discovered something new: ideas, views, feelings, sensations, creativity, all provided insights, help, and healing // Walking the earth. Step by Step. >> This book is dedicated to William and Orren.
